Get Involved

The work gets done
because people show up.

Every mentor, judge, speaker, and advisor in the MGP network came through the same door. Now they hold it open for the next person. This is how the flywheel turns.

How to Get Involved

Find your
role.

01
Industry Mentor
Work one-on-one with a Fellow throughout the 11-week Bootcamp or 4-day Workshop. Monthly check-ins, brief feedback, and ongoing career guidance from someone already in the room they're trying to get into.
02
Guest Speaker
Come to the cohort for a real conversation — not a keynote. Fellows are preparing to interview at the companies their mentors and speakers represent. These conversations matter.
03
Campaign Judge
Sit on the judging panel for Presentation Day. Evaluate campaign work and provide direct, constructive feedback to Fellows who are presenting to you as if it's a job interview. Because it is.
04
Agency Host
Open your agency for a site visit or workshop session. Fellows visit agencies as peers being evaluated — not tourists. These are relationship-building opportunities with the people who will be hiring from this cohort.
05
Workshop Facilitator
Lead a hands-on craft session in your discipline — copywriting, art direction, strategy, media, PR, content, or digital. Active practitioners only. Fellows can tell the difference.
06
Alumni Advocate
Show up. Recruit from the next cohort. Refer a Fellow for an open role. Recommend MGP to a brand or agency partner. Come back to mentor the class that comes up after yours.
The Mentorship Program

What a good
mentor actually does.

MGP mentorship is not a once-a-semester phone call. It is a working relationship with a Fellow who is trying to break into the same industry you're already leading. The commitment is structured, the impact is real, and the Fellows you mentor will remember it — and come back to do the same.

01
Monthly 1:1 Sessions
Structured check-ins throughout the program. You set the agenda together.
02
Brief + Campaign Feedback
Review the Fellow's work in progress. Real feedback, not encouragement.
03
Career Guidance
Help the Fellow understand the industry they're entering — the parts that aren't in any job description.
04
Network Introduction
When the time is right, open one door. That's often all it takes.
