Jason started his career in New York City learning the fundamentals of packaged goods marketing at Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO. There he led campaigns for Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble and Mars.
After joining the Nike team of W+K Portland, Jason moved to China in 2006 to help launch Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai and lead the Nike China business through the 2008 Beijing Olympics. That was followed by an appointment to Global Account Director on the business where he oversaw the development of key global efforts for Nike’s 2010 World Cup campaign, “Write The Future”, the highly controversial campaigns for both LeBron James and Tiger Woods and the early stage platform development for Nike’s London Olympics, “Nike Greatness”.
In 2011 Jason returned to China to lead W+K Shanghai through its next phase of creative innovation as Managing Director. Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai was named China’s 2012 Independent Advertising Agency of the Year in Greater China.
Throughout his career he has been tasked with building, restructuring and motivating globally diverse teams. Jason is committed to diversity and social good. He is on the board of the Marcus Graham Project. He is on the advisory board of Invisible Children. He is a member of the Summit Series community and a founding member of Brickstr.com, an e-commerce solution designed to keep financial investment within local communities.
He is also a devoted Georgetown Hoya.
